I refused to buy one as long as the Kinect needed to be attached for it to function. Since they did away with that requirement, I decided to stick with Xbox. Still gonna wait at least a couple of years though. This is mainly for people that primarily use there xbox 360 like myself. Not sure what I am doing yet what about you guys?

Sticking with Xbox. I think the Kinect 2 is going to be sweet and I also prefer the exclusives over Sony's.Â
I thought KH3 was coming to both systems..Yeah the only thing that has me thinking about getting a ps4 is Kingdom hearts haha

I'll buy an Xbox One after all the inevitable patches come out by the time Halo 5 comes out. Then I will definitely be getting one. For now, it will be a PS4 and a 360.Â
This seems very repetitive to a lot of the other postings on this forum. Everyone is asking the same question but in different ways lol. But, to help my post count go up, I will continue to respond lol. Yes, I am sticking with them and have the One pre-ordered.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at right now!!
You will be missing out on what promisses to be the best online MP experience ever invented. http://m.ign.com/videos/2013/08/27/titanfall-other-next-gen-shooters-feel-quaintNo, I will be purchasing a PS4 because of Sony's stance on multiple issues, the better hardware offered at a better price, and just the PS4's line-up in general.
I've always been a huge Xbox fan and primarily used the original Xbox and the 360 for my gaming needs, despite owning a PS2 (and recently purchasing a PS3, solely for the exclusives). The 360 has always 'felt' like the better console, in my opinion. I just liked the user interface, the controller, and the online portion of the 360 more so than the PS3.
But after witnessing all the initial anti-consumer, anti-gaming nonsense Microsoft tried to pull with the Xbox One, it's glaringly obvious Microsoft has severely lost touch with its core audience. Even if they have since rescinded on these policies, they did so solely because of sales figures. They will not be getting a dime from me. Microsoft needs to know they really ****ed up and that those sorts of practices will simply not fly.
[QUOTE="Flamingpostman"]I thought KH3 was coming to both systems.. yeah it is. Kingdom hearts 3 and also Final fantasy 15 are coming to both xb1 and ps4. I am looking forward to these 2 games plus the newly announced fable legends. I have to admit I would of gone for ps4 if there was no kh3 and ff 15 coming to xbox but it's a massive bonus!Yeah the only thing that has me thinking about getting a ps4 is Kingdom hearts haha

You're right Marc...have fun rockin' the gimped version of Titanfall on 360 and trying out the laggy PS4 online while the rest of us are using the 27,000 cutting edge cloud servers on the proven online service with the top notch cutting edge game that is the perfect mix of Battlefield and CoD! Good luck with that! PS...I will have the PS4 for sale I reserved on my Best Buy credit card if you can't find one! (At a small profit..of course) LOL
I've got my PS4 paid off in full and will wait on XB1 until they remove kinect. If they never do, it's no big loss. Owning both systems this gen has lead to a huge backlog so I'd be fine with just PS4 for the next 7 years or so.ch2423
They have already said that they will not get rid of kinect its here to stay get used to it.
Not that i really want to, but i am weak and buy every launch console anyway. I just purchased the day 1 edition from the Microsoft Store ( yes, Day 1 Edition is still available ).  I also bought Forza because i need at least one game, but i am not THAT excited for the system, and to tell you the truth, i am a little mad at myself for buying it.  Owning two next gen consoles is going to be a bit redundant and  I hope it does not turn out to be a total waste of money and i get some fun out of the system.Â
[QUOTE="Flamingpostman"]I thought KH3 was coming to both systems.. It is. Sony had fun showing games at E3 pretending they were exclusives. MS did the same thing with Minecraft for next gen. Gamesmanship among companies I guess.Yeah the only thing that has me thinking about getting a ps4 is Kingdom hearts haha

Well, it seems like your only selling point in the MP and if that's the case then you fail in my situation!:) I'm a single player guy and MP is a secondary after thought for me....don't get me wrong I like MP but if that's what your telling me I'm missing out on then as I said before...I can wait a few years. Oh, and thanks for looking out for me as far as the PS4 but I already got 2 reserved(1 to sell on ebay) and I just got my confirmation that I will be getting them on 11/15.:)

....And what makes you think I'm buying or even remotely interested Titanfall, it's just "ANOTHER" generic shooter with a fresh coat of paint on it!! You are the one who seems to have a boner for that game...RYSE is the only game on the XB1 that interest me at the moment.
If all you do is play SP, then you're missing out on at least 30 percent of what you are paying for in the first place! It's not just Titanfall (which if you think is just a new coat of paint, shows how painfully oblivious you are to online multiplayer) It's co op, it's data sharing (like in Forza 5), it's everything that makes online fun with over 27,000 state of the art, virtually lag free servers! That's ok, just stay down there in your basement or up in your apartment with no one you care enough about to share it with, while the rest of us have fun out here in the world sharing and competing with others and having new experiences TOGETHER! Because that's what life is all about.Â
I think I will buy one when it's been out for a lttle bit and the price goes down. I have enough games in my backlog for my PS3 and 360 to keep me busy for a whiiiiile.

Wow, I'm getting the beat-down just because I'm waiting a year or 2 to get an XB1? I thought you where a cool dude, but it seems your just an oldschool fanboy.Â
All those features that you are talking about will be available on other platforms but let's not go there because that's a system wars topic....anyway, it's painfully obvious that the only real friends you have are online because that's the only thing that can explain your passionate views. I know what the XB1 has to offer but it's nothing that important that I have to get it right away.
The wonderful thing about having a conversation like this with you is that I know now I don't have to waste my time responding to you anymore:)
The difference is the perception of value when it comes to multiplayer. Blacklist is the perfect example of what I am talking about! If you only play the SP campaign you are only getting about 20 pervent of the value they pack into the game. I play with real friends, both across town and across the country. I have a highway patrolman friend in California that would open his house to me any time I go there. How much more real can a friendship be than that? Don't hate me for having a difference of opinion and being an outspoken proponent for the future of co op and multiplayer gaming. If you want to invest your money in an unproven and to date lesser quality experience with the PS4, go ahead. The online is only one reason I am getting the X1 first. The kinect now has value due to the fact that it can be used as an interactive workout tool. It also recognizes each person so you don't have to sign in. It will do so automatically. Â I also like the integration of skype and the cable box for others in the room when we watch my 72" tv. It's a matter of value to myself and the other people in my life because I am all about others. The 70+ online friends are a part of that as well. Of those people, the two or three that are my real friends were willing to switch based on what the group decided. Again...life is all about sharing and I like it like that!
If you asked me this a couple months back it would've been a definite no. Right now it's a maybe and I'm going to wait and see what happens in the next year.RoslindaleOneThis.

I've just never understood how EVERY FPS is generic to some people. It's not another military shooter. There have been innovations and new things done with FPS's this gen. Now I'm not saying Titanfall is innovative (although the wall running thing is technically new to FPS MP) but it's definitely something different we haven't seen before. Most of my gaming friends and myself were mostly xbox 360 this gen, but we're jumping to ps4 next gen. Though the hardcore among us (basically just me) will certainly be getting both eventually, likely when they break down and sell a cheaper xbox one without the kinect.

If you're buying into the whole MP Centric thing, you must not get out much. To really get into MP gaming, you have to really be dedicated and spend as much time on it as possible. It's this whole "adhd" MP Centric appeal that's hurting the SP experience today.Â
I'd take my "lesser quality experience" with the PS4 against MP anyday of the week. At the end, I'm still enjoying myself GOING OUT, breathing fresh air into my lungs with people who enjoy good wine, food and traveling.Â
The point is...why not get both? Technology is taking us places we have never bee before. Don't be afraid to take the ride because you're too comfortable with your anti-social gaming habits. I spend more time playing single player too, but why limit yourself? Please don't lecture me about how to live...I have plenty of fun in the sun! How do you equate one to the other anyway? You think people that spend a few hours playing co op and MP with their friends don't go outside? That's just silly! Judgemental much?

But it is expensive and very redundant. It will take awhile for the exclusives to build up and actually separate and define these systems.

 seems I strucked a nerve. If I did, I didn't mean to insult you in anyway. Kudos to you if you enjoy MP and such. I just feel the influx of MP gaming has hurt in many ways the quality and longevity of SP campaign in games.Â
Secondly, I've been a ONE console owner since after Generation 6. Personally, limiting myself is not the question. It's the luxury of TIME that I don't have. Owning more than one console is redundant to me and it is much a burden for me to invest heavily on other consoles, let alone playing MP. I enjoy not only gaming but other hobbies as well, such as cooking and surfing, which is why I travel at least 5-10 times a year, whenever my schedule becomes feasable.Â
