What game should i get Assassin creed or mass effect.

From wat i herd mass effect is like 5 times longer than AC, and is a rpg. They also say AC is a repetative and boring action game. Well i dont know since i dont own either.

Can someone who owns both games tell me which one is betta??

I feel that Mass Effect is a much better game. However, this is all personal preference... 100 people could answer this question and it could very well be 50/50.

I would have to recommend Mass Effect. I'm not even a big RPG fan and I am loving it.

I rented AC yesterday, and I'm glad I didn't buy it. Definitely not worth 60 bucks. It isVERY repetitive. Yeah it's great for the first hour or so but after that it's the same stuff over and over. I haven't played ME butI plan to get it for Christmas. It seems like it's a great game.

Mass Effect is easily the better game. Assassins Creed may have a great concept (who doesn't like doing assassinations?) but the execution fell to pieces.

They are not "stupid games" and here is a topic to help you decide between several top-rated Xbox 360 games.

I'm going to have to say assassins creed, because every game is repetitive. Take gears of war, how many times did you hide behind something, aim and shoot, run up, hide, aim and shoot, run up, hide, aim and shoot?

How many times in fight night round 3 did you block, dodge and punch, block dodge and punch?

How many times in dead rising did youlead someone around the same mall to resuce them, and kill zombies with the same 50 items over and over again?

How many times in Halo 3 did you progress through the linear storyline and shoto baddies and progress and then shoot more?

You see, technically everygame is repetitive, but what I liked in assassins creed is the mobility to progress around the cities anywhere. yes, you get spotted, run and hide, rinse repeat. yes you pickpocket and eavesdrop and interrogate 2 times per level, and end it with an assassination (which is different each time) however its always in a different part of the city and the hardness level increases as you progress through the game as with most games. I personally don't find it borin gone bit, and i'm not saying ME is bad, cause i'm sure it is very good. But AC is not bad like most people on this thread suggest.

My advice, rent both and buy the one that better suits your personal preference.

My suggestion:

Buy Mass Effect, rent Assassin's Creed.

Replay value is high with ME and AC could get or will get quite tiresome after completion. AC is NOT an rpg so there is no character development which is why many say AC gets repetitive (besides running around only 3 major cities).

Does assassin creed and mass effect have different difficulties.

Cause i herd that AC has the same difficulty. If AC difficulty can be changed, is the ai sparter and harder to face??

here's the rundown. AC = great, fantastic game. However, it's only worth a rental imo.

its more of a matter of choice, AC is a faster paced open world game with great action and a good storyline

ME is longer with more choices but built rpg which obviously runs slower but at the same time more replay value

My choice was AC, the GTA open world and fast action kills was the way to go for me.

In my opinion, I actually prefer Assassin's Creed, only because Mass Effect feels almost unplayable with all that lag, and AC feels like nothing you've ever played before, while ME feels like a next gen version of KOTOR. But it all depends on your preference.

I own both games but... MASS EFFECT > AC

The reason is that MAss effect is such a new type of game, very ambitious and the best story ive ever seen in a videogame. While AC is a good game, its VERY VERY repetative, with not much variety, and a very lackluster story.

I think more casual gamers will like AC, but overall MASS EFFECT is the better game, a masterpeice

AC = 8.5

MASS EFFECT = 9.5
