I'm pretty sure GH3 would be better since it had nearly unlimited replayability but the same could probably be said with AC. Plus, they're two totallydifferent games, so it'd be hard to choose anyway.
How can you compare or ask us to choose between two totally different games. Just go with the genre you list the most. There, I made up your mind for you.
I don't think one can rightfully put the two head to head. Assassin's Creed is going to be one of the first truly next-gen experiences in terms of gameplay innovation and graphics.
Guitar Hero 3... Well, if you are going to spend that much money on a game, buy a cheap, real electric guitar. Much more fun and you can play any song you can learn. GH just can't compare to the real thing.
It always puzzles me why people start threads like this. It's kinda like a 10 year old being excited about potentially buying something and they want everyone to know how excited they are about it...
Anyway...two completely different games for two completely different audiences. Use your own judgement based on your own personal likes/dislikes to make the decision, after all...you're the one paying for it.
