Average age for xbox gamers?

but i think if u did a real average the age would be like 17 or 18

Yeah, I'm with you. I've met some pretty cool people on there and had some good conversations. However, I have suffered the children as well.

I think there are a lot of older gamers that aren't counted on websites like this.

But - I'd have to say overall average age of gamers is between 20-25 yrs old

I didn't have Pong, but I did start with the Atari 2600!

56% of gamers are over 20. Also, 49% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I'm 34 since 3rd of April 2009.

Have been gaming since I was 12 (Commodore 64, Amiga 500, Sega Master System, ...), then took a 'break' during my 20's, but became addicted again November 2008. Aforded myself an XBOX360 and Full HD LCD and I must saygfx are awesome these days!

Yes I do have a girlfriend (and a baby's expected beginning ofJanuary 2010). I'll spend my time as a 'family man', but when I have a spare moment, you bet I'll play every moment I can.

I was born in 88, but have yet to turn 21.

im 19 i think the average age ive seen is 15-40.I got some kids on my friends list that are 15 none lower than that. Then i have friends in their 20's then have some in their early 40' it just all depends who likes to game i think gaming is a hobby for everyone.

I know I'm adding to an old topic, but I took the average of all the ages everyone posted (including myself at 26).

That came out to approx. 21.7

But some of this data is 3 years old! You could add 1.5 years to this to guestimate the number of people that responded that still play and the fact that some of this data isn't three years old.

End up with about 23 for an average.

...but how many 8-12 year olds are actively posting, Gamespot members?
