Bad Company help

Okay, i've been trying to get the F2000 on the first bad company game and i've already linked my GT to my EA account. Is that all I have to do or am i missing something because i still dont have it.

what does he mean by scrennames and would 1943 work?

I figured some of it out and i have veteran status 1 now because i have bad company and 1943. On the battlelfield website it says i have it but in the game it still isn't unlocked.
