Maybe you could also go to the virtual store and buy a game that is virtually good? Or play games on your virtual 50" HDTV in your virtual living room.luvbeerslmao

all in all this sets the difference between targets, Xbox targets the video-game player. XBox has an hardcore feel, minimalistic approach to a almost perfect online gaming experience. It succeded in appealing a broader audience with the 360 model (the original was way tooooo hardcore), though, but it is still but a video-game device at heart.
PS is a multi-media device, wich happens to run games (PSP is the perfect example where Sony is going, they sell lots of units, but nobody buys its games). It's meant to push stuff that are Sony's core buisness - HD TV's, Blu-Ray movies, music distribution.
My "scene" is video-gaming, but I know many other people get their "kick" out of Sony stuff better (read above). To each its own.
