fromMGS's score to halo'sfamoustunes, what are the best soundtracks applied with a game?
Halo 3, Fable, Mass effect, Bioshock, Oblivion and (even though it's not from the 360 console) God of War 1 & 2.
MGS,Bioshock,Maff Effect,Oblivion,The Darkness,Zelda,Fable,Alone In The Dark,Halo,Hitman:Blood Money,GH3.etc
Halo 3 is my favourite. BioShock and Gears of War are great too. Just Cause has a good score but this has not been released. Tomb Raider: Anniversary really has that good feel of being lost in tombs and I believe it is available freely too.
How on God's green earth has no one said Shadow of the Colossus, Advent Rising, Okami, Gitaroo-Man, or Super Smash Bros Brawl yet? Sadness...:( But all the others mentioned thus far are excellent as well.

Oddly enough, HL2. I still nod my head to it whenever it loads and it times the music just right in the game.
Bioshock gets points just for having "Under The Sea".Dead Rising has some good songs.Oblivion has a great soundtrack.Mass Effect.The Darkness.Shadow of The Colossus.God of War 1 & 2.POP: The Sands of Time Trilogy.
