I kinda like them all evenly. They all have some of their own weaknesses and stregnths. If I had to choose one though, I guess Halo Combat Evolved for the PC.
Halo 3 didnt do much for me. The 4 player coop was cool but I think the weapons they did a horrible job on. Especially with what they did to the Battle Rifle and the pistol.

what game are you playing? the weapons are basicly the same.
Halo 2 is my favorite for 2 reasons: 1; my favorite weapon- the Shotgun works better on 2 and 2; I like the Mark V helmet better than the Mark VI Mjolner helmet (in looks)

Pistol and Battle Rifle are not even close to the same. Especially if you compare CE to 3. Or even 2 to 3. They made the Battle Rifle and Pistol pretty much useless. Battle rifle and pistol used to be my favorite weapons. They even changed the needler. So what game are you playing?
For me its Halo 3. One of the best online games i've ever played and i've played a lot. Most of the people who hate on Halo are the ones that suck at it.
