10 small, and easy steps for those who have difficulty, or don't know how to level. In just a few simple steps you can easily level up like I did :)

*NOTE BEFORE YOU READ* : If you have the Knights of the Nine expansion, and wearing the complete Crusader set: I would recommend leveling the slow, old fashioned way UNLESS you want to turn evil and automatically lose it.

Also don't think you can sleep 20 times and hit level 20. Rest every 2 levels because I think the maximum levels you can hold before resting is 2 and a half.

Oblivion Leveling Guide --

Step 1. Go to the game options and slide the difficulty bar all the way down to the left (EASIEST SETTING)

Step 2. Enter any main capital city

Step 3 (Fun part) :D Punch a guard.

Step 4. Stop! You violated the law! Pay the capital a fine of gold and it's off to lockup with you. Blah blah blah...

Step 5. Resist arrest! :D

Step 6. Wait a few seconds for a large horde of guards to come

Step 7. Using the skills and talents you major in, use the best of your abilities to survive until everybody is dead around you.

Step 8. Wait for 1 hour to regain full health, magika, and energy (fatigue)

Step 9. *Guards come running back* Stop! You violated the...--*Slice, Chop, Thud!*

Step 10 [Optional]. Be creative with your killings! Dump bodies in the ocean, Hide them in the bushes, Blame someone!

It's not really hard to level up in Oblivion in the first place if you have the slightest idea of what you're doing.

Thats too much work. Just summon a skeleton or something. You can build up all of your combat stats and defense stats and you don't have to worry about dying because the summon will disapper in like 30 seconds.

it's best if you just go to diffrent places and kill monsters but just like the guy said just summon a skeleton and there you go. plus its not when you finish the game because then the gaurds are a pain in the ass becuase you killed them.

Well my main skills are:

-Athletics

-Armorer

-Blade

-Block

-Blunt

-Heavy Armor

-Destruction

So I can't summon anything. But what I did was aggrivate a horde of attacking guards and civilians, just stand there and watch my heavy armor skill go up, kill the guards, yield to the civilians, Wait 1 hour for full restoration, buy a **** load of repair hammers and level my armorer skill up and start over again. I honestly can not think of any easier way to level than that.

Leveling up also isn't the best thing to do in Oblivion because enemies get stronger the higher your level. Unless you can a challange later on. Level away. I stopped leveling up when I reached Lv40 or so.

Nah the easiest way to lvl is to major in Sneak and crouch and walk against a wall for a few hours, but make sure your sneaking close to someone,(use something to hold the stick for you while you watch tv or something) then tada!

Don't have to worry about having a massive bounty on your head either. I stand on high ground, summon a melee character underneath me and work on my Magic/Archery.
