Best weapon in Halo 3

Halo is the best shooting game I've ever play in XBox and XBox 360

I'm just a newbie, and i have a question.

- What is the best weapon in Halo 3 ?

- What is the often do you use ?

- Do you have an idea about new weapon for Halo 3 ?

Please tell me, and give me your reason.

Battle Rifle = best Halo 3 weapon ever!

plasma grenede - even if somone kills you, you can stick em and get a kill and a killed from the grave medal for your trouble. my K/D id offset by 3 points,

if not its the rocket launcher but thats too easy.

id go needler, i use it a ton as soon as i get it, but plasma grenedes are my last line of defense if you are ever in close quarters always stick somone, if they are in a group you may even get colateral damage resulting in multiple kills.

add mearik and ill join ya in some fun, im in the lvl 14 and under rank brackets and havent played much other than slayer and lone wolf.

NO way! the 10 yr olds migrated and learned some new swears. they are all over COD now its impossible to escape parents have no sense in what their grade school children play.

Amen to that... For me it can be used as an all round weapon. Close range and long range.

The over-powered needler, of course.... I hate that thing.

I prefer the battle rifle, most of the time. I've seemed to have lost my touch a little bit with it though.

Actually the best weapon is the anti-fanboy rifle very powerful against people that have fanboy personalities.

But seriously my fav since halo 2 is the carbine. Just sounds really cool and i love it my second fav if the BR.

It's just a very powerful weapon that's great for most encounters. I prefer it because it's easy to aim for the head/upper body and get plenty of surprise attacks on people. Also yeah the pistol was like the ultimate weapon sniper/pistol combo was the best or for close encounters pistol/fuel rod cannon. I loved that game so much still play it too.

I'm just curious why must you bash halo 3 so much? If you don't like it why not avoid talking about it? It's not "cool" to go along with fads where you act like a "rebel" and hate on every game. Halo 3's great but not the best so just stop your bashing it's not cool anymore i'm sorry. Get with the times the game's old overhyped or whatever you're gonna say doesn't matter still a solid game.

Hey... i agree. I love the halo series (Co-op or single player) just saddens me that such a great game can have its multiplayer ruiend because they make jumping so ridiculous. I like games that involve some strategy and not just a button mash.

Yes i agree there's a couple things i don't like about halo but it's alwas been a blast with my friends so i've always enjoyed the series. It's true there is way too much jumping involved that's why i prefer medium/long range duels to upclose running around each other trying to hit. It's so boring running in circles trying to jump/hit the other guy but you get used to it i try my best to avoid that kinda fighting.

There you go right there. Bash them or get them with a grenade. A lot of kills are racked up with melees. That's the Halo way of killing.

By the way, ever notice your assault rifle always tends to be about 5 bullets too short to finish someone off?

Hehe I know you're correct. In most places BR are the best bet. They are overall, the best gun to have. But in Snowbound and Guardian, it's nothing but grenades and melees that'll get a victory.

Yes i totaly agree with this guy lol. But my fav is the Battle Rifle if u pwn hs with it its really damn good.

Every weapon has a self ability. I think... I just use a weapon that comfortable to me

Do you feel comfortable with all of Halo 3 weapons? Is there a weapon that hard to use?

Sniper rifle.

-Long range.

-5-10x scope zoom.

-Instant headshot kill.

-And I use it alot.

Spartan Laser

-Causes splash damage.

-Can be used for overkill.

-3x scope zoom.

-Can destroy veichles and other players in 1 shot.

-I use it mostly when I am facing veichles.

Beam rifle.

-Pretty much like Sniper rifle.

And some others.

Anything that can kill someone with one hit (Rocket launcher, splaser, sniper rifle).

Another weapon that is considered "good" is the sword. But everyone knows only weeaboos go for it thinking they're some awesome samurai. Not so awesome when they're given a history lesson about the samurai and why they died out when guns were invented.
