Best weapon in Halo 3

Skilled Halo players (yeah gasp i know) would tell you that the Battle Rifle and the Carbine are quite effective weapons, while the sniper can make opponents miserable with good skill, stragedy and a good sniping point, the rockets are good for anti-vehicle and a quick mow down of enemies, and the shotgun,maulerand sword are good for close quarters combat.

The best way to kill Halo3 is to get COD4. Less bunny hopping and fewer 10 year olds.

*Facepalm* Ironic considering that you do know all the 10 year olds migrated to COD. And who does bunny hopping. Never heard of that strategy...Oh wait you're a troll...so uhh...Halo>COD. Flame on.

Another weapon that is considered "good" is the sword. But everyone knows only weeaboos go for it thinking they're some awesome samurai. Not so awesome when they're given a history lesson about the samurai and why they died out when guns were invented.

My 3 favorite weapons:

• Battle Rifle
• Sniper Rifle
• Energy Sword

Get good with the Battle Rifle, and I recommend the needler for easy kills because it is devastating. An SMG/Plasma Rifle combo is good for close range since Covenant weapons are good for lowering shields, while human weapons are best at killing dudes with zero shields. Getting used to the Assault Rifle never hurts as well. You really can't stick to 1 weapon for you are boned if you respawn.

Best weapon: Easily the BR. It's good for medium to long range. Not other weapon as versitile as it.

What do I use often: BR with a Mauler/Plasma Rifle/Plasma Pistol. I use the Mauler in MLG for close range, the plasmas in every other playlist because they take down shields quickly.

They replaced the BR with the pistol, just like how the Halo CE pistol was replaced with the BR.

Battle Rifle, hands down.

Since newbs turned social slayer into an abysmal experience of fail.

Sure ranked is the way to go, but a social game is fun too when I just want to play a quick game before I go to work and not have to slam down the adderall just so I can focus long enough to assassinate someone.
