The 360 alone has many faults with hardware problems but really, how many times has the noise stopped you from playing gears? yes the elite was a let down for us gamers who bought the 360 at launch or whenever but u can buy the 120 GB hardrive separate which really is the only difference between the two systems. i found that its probibly better to wait because if Microsoft did this already in one year maybe next year they can wake up and put in a hd dvd drive and lower the noise.
also when i read the thread i read that many of you were complaining about rainbow six, which i thought was overrated but also a great core game with a nice cover system and one of the 360's games i couldn't stop playing. the live offered some nice moments and was one of the first games to be able to put your face on a character and actually look good while it happened.
Also with crackdown i really enjoyed the art style and choices you had with it. the Dev's basically gave a sandbox, incredible city to mess with, superhuman powers, and a couple bad guys u can blow up with a rocket launcher. it was one of those games where it doesnt feel like a complete game, but just a game to mess around with, also same with dead rising did the same with the pick it up and play.
Oblivion was boring after you finished the story and seemed the only fun way to play it was with some of the glitches to go along with the game.
but games like pdz which was worthless, Kameo also.
I that that COD 2 was better than the sequal.
or games that relied on achievments to keep it alive (all 06 sports games)
and also some crappy ports which were all great games but not needed (king kong, GUN, and all the rest on the launch)
but the biggest let downs for me would have to be Over g fighters (crappy graphics, uninspired gameplay)
and Kameo which i only played for the achievements.
Also i find xbla to be a huge disappointment.
