This game is a long ways away, I understand the strategy of announcing it early to increase Take Two's value, due to the recent attempt by EA to take over. But yeah it's a long time before the release.
Awesome, even tho it is by another team, I actually like that because this will allow the game to expand, but hopefully stay faithful to the first game. I also like this because we still get games from the Bioshock universe and then we get to see what Ken Lavine (Or however you spell his name) and his team do next. This is what I wish bungie would have done because I don't think anyone could mess it up and maybe they would have took more chances, but I don't mean to say Halo is a bad game or frachise, it just would have been cooler for them to take more chances. But today, its getting rarer and rarer for companies to take chances because most don't succeed, you need to sell platnum for games to do well now, and if you don't, you end up like Atari (who I hope don't ever go away).
if its not made by 2k and the take two squad i dont think it will be as good as the first, but id still get it just because the first one was amazing, that and re4 are the only games ive ever given a 10.

NO! i never wanted them to make a sequel to bioshock!! now it's just going to be lofted off as another money making video game franchise and nothing more! honestly i don't want a sequel. it will just cheapen how unique and special the original realy was. if they had left it how it was then it would make it so much easyer to appreciate it, rather then just tossing it aside becuase there is a new version out...
Im pretty sure this will be a prequel (if it already wasnt annouced as one) because theres not much to do after the story of bioshock. Also a story about how rapture was developed would be really interesting.
i hope they don't screw it over and I sure hope it isn't as overhyped as Bioshock was. first thing that needs to go would be the Vita Chamber gimmick. they'd have to do a lot to get me to want this game more as I personally thought that Bioshock was pretty overrated (still great, but the hype/fun ratio didn't sit in right).
