i feel alotta ppl are underestimating how sick this game is goin to be you look at alot of ppls polls of new games comin out and bioshock is rarely on them NE1 else think bioshock needs some more love

You should look into the game alittle more the ugly girl hostage is a small child that's his sister and not a hostage. andmajor part ofvideo games are sci-fi

You'll be proven wrong when the reviews start rolling in near the end of August. This game will revolutionize the FPS genre. Irrational are perfectionists, and this game will prove their quality and attention of detail in gameplay and story.
you obviously kno nothing about the game if you say it like that this game has complex AI pretty much anythin you find in the game can be turned into a weapon 8 actual guns 60 plus powers plus it allows you to make moral choices this game seems more to me than the way youre describing it
honestly if you don't like this game caus you think it;s a dumb idea for an fps or whatever you reason may be, you should realy look into it a lil more caus realy i see it as more of an RPG than an FPS. weather or not that makes you look at the game any differently is entirely up to you.
ya this game is goin to be crazy good.and should get some more attention..but its kind of hard with halo comin out and other games like assassins creed, pgr 4 and cod4 stealin the show really...im also looking forward to half life 2: orange box...cant wait for it...

ya there realy are way to many games coming out this year it makes it so hard to choose.
Well BioShock is on my "Must get list" of 2007 and I am getting no matter what Gamespot gives it. The game looks so good and I know its going to be good, and its already pre-order for me
For all you nay-sayers, I suggest picking up a copy of System Shock 2 for the PC (if you can find one, it should be under $10 or so at this point). Granted, the graphics are dated as the game was released in '99, but in terms of pure atmosphere & immersion as well as scaring the living crap out of you, I've scarcely seen a better produced game. Bio Shock is essentially its spiritual successor, so don't knock it 'til you try it.
the onyl thing that really bothers me about this game is the character physics when attacked...it looks exactly like when you hit an enemy in oblivion...horrible.

While Bioshocl does look awesome, I do agree that some of it's character design lookpretty lame.

It's cheap because they are trying to get good advertising and their name out to consumers. They apparently hate ebgames/gamestop because what they do is criminal by ripping you off so bad. In my opinion I actually agree with them. But yeah it's just promotional stuff to get customers and gain loyalty.

woah woah i dont know about revolutionize, but i surely think that bioshock will be a hell of a great game, interesting and original. but i may be wrong it may be a total flop, or it may totally revolutionize, but i dont think it will flop, i think it will be awesome.
