[QUOTE="einsig"] [QUOTE="gokuofheaven"]i don't believe in 10's...maybe 9.9...but even if that...Bioshock offers no multi-player so it can't be 10/10 unless they reviewed it as just a 1-player title. Either way it's a nice looking game, so i'm not worried about a score. Scores are useless if you already like the game.Cold84
Why does a game HAVE to have MP to be perfect? That makes no sense. I'm tired of the notion that a game, especially FPS, has to have MP standard. Far too many games have had their singple player campaign fall short in favor of multiplayer (and usually even that is not that good). I'd much rather see a developer focus on what they set out to accomplish, rather than have resources wasted on either a tacked on MP or lame SP component. The goal for Bioshock from day one was to develop a new SP FPS that evolves the genre and devlivers a cinematic, lush and highly realized world that tells a great story and above all sucks the player in for the ride of their life. Why would you penalize a game that does just that, simply because it is "missing" a game play component it never intended to have?
Well if that was the case then you shouldn't take away from the game if the MP is bad, to me it can't be both ways and since this has happened already it should happen to Bioshock. MP is in just about every FPS now so I think it is no longer a feature and should be in every next gen game besides RPGs.
So a game isn't next gen if it don't have a MP mode? LMAO.
