I'm not exactly sure, but I highly doubt it will be 10 hours....

Seems like I read somewhere that a dev hinted at the 20 hour length, sadly I have no idea if this is main story only or includes the side quests. For me this is the question that will make or break whether I purchase or rent.

Pc Gamer said it was long. So 20-30 hours, 10 hours would be short.

These are not official but estimates from the info we hav been given from reviews, previews and interviews.

Main Story = 20-30 Hourse

Main Story, plus All the Side-Missions = 40-50 Hours

Main Story, plus All the Side-Missions, plus Exploring Everything in theGame = 60-70 Hours

Also, it should have a lot of replay value because of the customization and emergent gameplay. The story won't ever really play the same way twice. Also, there are 3 different moral paths you can take(Kill all the Little Sisters, Kill only a few Little Sisters and Save a few, or Save all the Little Sisters). Total time you can play enjoy the game without seeing the same thing twice =100+ hours.

are all of u new to the gaming industry ??

when a dev says 20 hours he means 10-12 and when a dev says 40 hours he means 20.. devolpers always do this they lie to make the game seem longer. unless you are a complete noob u will finish this in 10-15 hours with probly some of the side stuff atleast.

There was an article in GI speaking in defense of short games and I agree with it whole-heartedly. Who cares if it is a short game like Gears where it's only 10 or so hours long? Sure, I do understand that gamers want to get their money's worth when forking out $60 some dollars for one game but just so long as the game keeps you excited and on the edge of your seat throughout the whole game and leaves you feeling satisfied after you beat it who cares if its 5 hours or 50 hours long? I'd rather play a game like The Darkness that is short, but is amazing and won't let you put it down until the end instead of an immensly long one that seems to drag on after awhile. I think Bioshock is going to deserve everyone's money, regardless if it's considerably long or somewhat short. It's going to be amazing regardless.
