Get Fallout 3.

Pros:

  • Exploration
  • Weapons
  • Side quests
  • Combat
  • Can put an easy 70+ hours

Cons: :

  • Main quest has a weak story
  • Lite Framerate problems.

fallout 3 is soooo overrated....half the time your walking around, some stupidness happens, where in bioshock there is no extra stupidness....all action suspense all day, you really get into the story line

Fallout 3. More gameplay value than Bioshock.

Fallout 3 is the most overrated game on the 360 next to Oblivion, Bioshock is the real deal, a nice 10 hour RPG-like FPS with a compelling story most reviewers would agree.

I agree about Bioshock with a compelling story, Bioshock can be fun, but after a few run-throughs it can get boring.. So thats why I got my Fallout 3, I've played over it about a good 5 times now, and I was still having fun [until my DLC started to mess up].

I've put in WAAAAAY too many hours into both Fallout 3 and Oblivion. My two favorite games easily. I spent the whole summer and last Christmas break on only Fallout 3. Beat that game to a pulp and then beat it again.

I haven't played Fallout 3, but I have played both Oblivion(still playing) and Bioshock(finished). I am more of a swords and spells vs a futuristic/apocaliptic RPGer so Fallout 3 didn't really grab me. I enjoyed Bioshock immensely, so if I had to choose, I would have to go with Bioshock. It has an incredibly unique storyline that just sucks you in, and beautiful graphics. It revolutionized the FPS genre. Plus there is Bioshock 2 coming out soon.;)

Fallout if you like managing a variety of skills and gear like a true RPG.

Bioshock if you like more fluid action and a great setting/story, but it plays a little shorter than Fallout.

Considering Bioshocks only like $20 now, there's no reason not to pick it up in the near future anyway.

main quest has an AMAZING story. way better than some of the side quests. dont know what this guys thinking. if you get fallout 3, get broken steel dlc. however, bioshock is amazing. it certainly wont last you as long. the atmosphere is completely engrossing. rapture is so much fun to explore (theres a sequel coming in feb) and its intellectually great. get either. fallout is an rpg with shooter bits and bioshock is a shooter with rpg bits. its like apples to oranges, really.

both are good games, but totally different. Bioshock is more intense, but Fallout 3 will keep you busy for a long time!

Between those two, Fallout 3 for the RPG element. But i would get Borderlands, just play a lot better.

Hmmm... pretty tough as I enjoyed both games thoroughly, if I had to choose I'd go with Fallout for the re-playability.

Bioshock. I've seriously beaten it about 15 times, and there's still more stuff hidden in the bowels of rapture that can be found. Bioshock Always things to shoot Always things to find Always fun to be had

I was more of a fan of Fallout 3, because I couldn't really get into the atmosphere of Rapture.

Plus all of the DLC, and it just steals the deal for me.

I would say get Bioshock, i played Fallout 3 and didn't like it even though i loved Oblivion.

But then again i bought Fallout 3 GOTY edition and just waiting 'till it's sent to give another try.

Fallout 3, There's no comparing Fallout 3 when it comes to awesomeness. Except when you bring a pc game into the equation. Cheers!
