Bioware's best console game?

I've never really been able to afford to be a pc gamer, so like many of you, I knew very little about Bioware until they started making games for consoles. Since all their console games have appeared on the xbox/xbox360 platform, I'd like to see which Bioware console game you guys have liked the best so far.

For me it's still Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It combines traditional wrpg role-playing with a star wars setting and jedi powers. Plus, it has a deep, engaging story that rivals the original film trilogy, along with one of the most memorable plot twists ever seen in a video game. And this is all aside from the fact that you get to choose which side of the force you'll be on. Not only is it my favorite all-time rpg, but it's #2 on my favorite games of all time.

Anyone that played KOTOR will vote for that, it rivals that of the best games and the story is amazing for any game, but especially for a Star Wars game. The twist even rivals that of the twist in the actual movies. It was a great game all around. Much better than Mass Effect, I'll always like Mass Effect, but I find that it played too much like a story book and less like an actual RPG.

Now, Mass Effect 2 may just take the cake, but for now... It's KOTOR.

I've played all those games except for Dragon Age. My favorite from that list which I've played has to be KotOR. Very enticing storyand loved the final boss battle.

I haven't played Dragon Age so I can't comment on that one.

But Mass Effect is my favorite game that they have ever put out regardless of it being console or PC.

Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire are both very good too. I've enjoyed every BioWare game I have ever played, they're a top-notch dev team.

Mass Effect. Dragon Age is good but it's a PC game at heart.

Anyone who had a decent/good computer when KOTOR was first released can probably agree the game was amazing. It's aged a bit, but back then it seemed like PC RPG's couldn't get any better.

Let me get this straight, you're wondering if you should play Dragon Age because it scored a little lower than KotOR? Or that more people enjoyed KoTOR over DA that it somehow isn't good enough?

If you like RPGs I think you should play it. Let's think on our own rather than looking at numbers/poll results. You'll only be happier for it.

I own and have played all 4 several times, and am currently on my 4th playthrough of KotOR. I actually like all games, but I still think KotOR is slightly better than Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Jade Empire was good as well, but not as good as the rest.

Mass Effect 2 might be a conteder for the top spot though.

For me, it's Mass Effect, hands down. It had a tighter narrative than Dragon Age or Knights, and well, I haven't played Jade Empire.

KOTOR. My love of that game surpasses all others. must have played through it 8 times.

KotOR wins hand down for me. I still have my retail copy.

2) Dragon Age: Origins
3) Mass Effect
4) Jade Empire

In that order, though I enjoyed them all.

...... this is coming from a huge star wars fan. KoTOR has a much better story than the original trilogy.

The man plot twist in the movies, was the Vader was Luke's father, while the main plot twist in KoTOR is that you are the villian that set most of this stuff in motion.

voted for KoTOR btw, even though I never extensively played on the console, but I did beat the pc version like 8 times, such an epic game

Bioware's games are pretty much guaranteed AAA

Mass Effect, however is the best Bioware game on the 360

I'm not saying that KOTOR isn't a good game because it was a very good game with all the cool *** lightsabers and force powers you couldn't go wrong, but Mass Effect had characters that actually seemed real and all of the weapons and level ups you had made the game fun as **** and the armors and game add-ons made this easily the best Bioware console game. Bioware and Ubisoft two best game designers.

Easily KOTOR I'm a huge Star Wars fan and that was just excellent in every way. I think I beat it around eight times.
