You should probably elaborate on point three.

Mass Effect has several decisions that must be made in regards to what weapon you will use, but the fights are essentially corridor shoot outs. KOTOR uses a semi-turn based engine where you must think a few steps ahead, especially in the later fights on high difficulty settings. Mass effect on insanity just gives your enemies a lot of health and immunity to your shots.Yeah, maybe he was thinking of something different. I like both games quite a bit, and I absolutely cannot wait for Mass Effect 2. Is the combat system supposed to be similar to the first one?SkyCommandThey supposedly refined it. You can see it in action in a few of the videos.
Exactly my stance. Mass Effect was an incredible game (I'm a huge sci-fi geek), but the combat system was just targeting Geth and shooting them with augmented bullets until they died.I do hope they make the combat in Mass Effect 2 a little more dynamic. I loved Mass Effect, but if I actually step back and analyze it, there wasn't a whole lot to most of the fights.

[QUOTE="2pac_makaveli"]why isnt kotor on games on demand?!RAMRODtheMASTERThat's a really good question.
It's on Steam! :D
ive played all of them except dragon age, i voted for kotor coz i loved it when it first came out. jade empire seemed a little on the short side, and mass effect was good but i couldnt be bothered waiting through the load times for visiting different planets. is dragon age actually any good for the consoles? it looked really bad to me.
I voted for KotOR. Possibly the best use of a liscense ever, to me everything the game did was near-perfect.The game was just so groundbreakingly good that not only will it be remembered as one of the best RPGs of all time, but also a contender for best overall game ever.
I'll keep this brief, but Dragon Age Origins is really good whether you play on PC or consoles. Compelling plot, addictive action, lots of customization and strategy. The main advantages of playing on PC are its zoom-outable camera, skill key bindings, and better graphics if you have a high-end PC. I say give it a shot.ive played all of them except dragon age ... is dragon age actually any good for the consoles? it looked really bad to me.

I'm glad you pointed this out as I can't get over the graphics for the consoles, let alone the Xbox 360 version (check out reviews and comparisons). Personally, I own the 360 version and I couldn't get pass the graphics (too bad for me), it's a great game otherwise. Not only were the graphics a hit or miss for me, I found the animation to be poorly done. I hate to be diplomatic but I am fully aware this game was built on an older graphics engine, hence why it is the way it is. If you can look pass the visuals, I would give it a shot. I mean, it IS Bioware we are talking about here. You can't really go wrong. Please Log In to post.
