That's all true, but I'm not sure that's what UT meant when he said that Knights of the Old Republic has deeper roleplaying.

Yeah, maybe he was thinking of something different. I like both games quite a bit, and I absolutely cannot wait for Mass Effect 2. Is the combat system supposed to be similar to the first one?SkyCommand

I do hope they make the combat in Mass Effect 2 a little more dynamic. I loved Mass Effect, but if I actually step back and analyze it, there wasn't a whole lot to most of the fights.

I have only played Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins. It's a tough choice. I am not going to vote.

Mass Effect imo, this is how i'd rate those 4

1. Mass Effect
2. KOTOR
3. Jade Empire
4. Dragon Age

ive played all of them except dragon age, i voted for kotor coz i loved it when it first came out. jade empire seemed a little on the short side, and mass effect was good but i couldnt be bothered waiting through the load times for visiting different planets. is dragon age actually any good for the consoles? it looked really bad to me.

I voted for KotOR. Possibly the best use of a liscense ever, to me everything the game did was near-perfect.The game was just so groundbreakingly good that not only will it be remembered as one of the best RPGs of all time, but also a contender for best overall game ever.
