Well I have just finished playing the demo and I have got so say, this game is amazing. Looking past the framerate issues (which I know for sure will be fixed) the gameplay is pretty dang sick. Its like the 360 version of Resistance. The Aliens look amazing too. Plus, the squad tactical function for this game were surprisingly effective, and what I have herd is that there are much more functionaility in the tactics section. Seriously, this game does look amazing too, it uses the UT3 engine almost flawlesly. This game just went on my must buy list.

Yes it does, if you actually read what it says when you beat the demo, it will confirm what i say. There will be normal stuff like team deathmathc, deathmatch, capture the flag, and also new modes like siege and another one i forgot the name of.

im pretty sure that the game's difficulty was toned down in the game (like it usually is in demos). i got rammed by those spider things without even getting hurt.Â
ye the demo was pretty sweet other then the framerate and it was VERY short, tooo easy, and the auto-aim sucked sooo bad!! if i aimed the gun on the aliens, u wouldnt even hav to aim after that because the gun will follow the alien. auto-aim is way too powerful
other than that this game will kickass BRAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP8)Â
I also had a lot of fun with the demo. However, I can't help thinking that it may end up to be a shallow game. Demos ARE made to make us want to blindly rush out and buy the product, so I'd be wary of the actual game. Almost any producer can make an awesome 10 minute demo of a lame game. Either way, here's to hoping!

UE3 is not last gen. The first game to use it was Gears of War, and that is still the best looking game this gen. What are you talking about? :|

The demo of this game is great, Its a demo of course so it wont be the same when the game goes gold, The fraterate problems were their but really it wasnt that big of a deal, The graphics are impressive, I just stooded their and look at my team mates heads and they were very detailed verging onto Crysis level head- Not the same quality but in the same ball park, The demo was easy as with most demos.
Another game to get for my 360, I wish i didnt buy a Ps3Wii360 and a PSDs, Theirs just to many games! and not enough time play them!.

You sir, are a bunch of lies. First you say the Halo 3 screenshot was photoshopped. Now you say that the "Unreal 3 engiene(whatever that is)" is going out very fast. As for the game. It looks awesome and is a definite buy. The framerate issues where not a problem for me the first time, because while I was shooting I didn't move. So if you are moving while shooting there will be some framerate issues.

The graphics were good. Unreal Engine 3 in this gen and it's going to be here for a long time. I agree that the game was very easy, but it's just a short demo. It looks like a plot-driven FPS. The opening was good and promises a cool story. The framerate was solid (I thought). This could be a sleeper hit.
i thought it was a fun very short demo..but it wasnt amazing. the framerate was really choppy at times especially the gunfight you have at the gas station.

I thought it was fun but not amazing. The UFO crash landing was definitely the coolest part. i did expereince some frame rate problems. anyone else notice this.
UE 3.0 is the NEWEST technology available! it is not going OUT! if you think that, you need to read more about it. as for the demo of area 51, i have not played it yet. having problems with my wireless connection. how big is the demo anyway?

Um, how can you say Unreal Engine 3 is last gen? The first game that used it came out like 6-8 months ago.
I can understand if you are psyched about the game itself. I am too. But the demo just plain sucked. The super easy difficulty setting, framerate issues, crappy controls, bad squad commands... no it definitely wasn't really good. But the demo is only to make people aware of the game. It's no where near finished. I'm interested in the final game. But the demo itself was a joke.
I thought the demo was pretty good. The frame rate dipped a lot during the gun fights but I am pretty sure that will be fixed. I'm just hoping the auto aim and aiming sensitivity are fixed. The aiming felt way to loose imo. PS: The devs have stated numerous times that this is not a tactical shooter therefore you will not see complex squad commands. Too many people are confusing this with RB6.
I thought it was merely ok, it seemed too easy, the graphics were so-so, and there were those framerate problems. The gameplay just didn't seem up to par either, you just ran around shooting. They didn't show off any vehicles promised or other weapons, the aliens looked cool yeah, but seemed kinda average to me. For me right now its a rent.
