Blacksite Area 51 to top Gears Visualy?

It says Unreal Engine 3 in Blacksite Area 51. So the graphics are going to be similar. I think the game looks good and fun.Wezker619

But just because it uses the unreal 3 engine that does not mean its gonna look just as good or better than GoW, it is all up to the designers to make and add all the detail to the environments, objects, and models.

I'm not sure it looks better than Gears of War, but it does look pretty good.  The demo was fun, but way too short. 

The demo didn't please me too much at all, the detail was good yes, but once your in a gun fight the framerate drops horribly. Gears of War will most likely stay as the best looking game until Bioshock or when Alan Wake gets released.Kev_Dawg

Top Gears?  I don't think it can...it can get darn close, but it's hard to think that Midway could top Epic since URE is Epic's baby and brain child.

The demo is dated so the polish isn't there, but the graphics were better than most.  Sadly, the framerate was terribly inconsistant, but again it's an early playable version of the game.  They've got a few more months to fix any issues like that.

ummm.... rain doesnt interact with anything in gears.... it doesnt even make ripples in water...
