HAHAHA blue ray outsold HDdvd 3 to 1 . you just waiste your money . btw you can"t says HDdvd is better when you don't even own a blue ray players . its bot called blue ray...its Blu-Ray...and yes that is a significant difference [QUOTE="gatsbythepig"][QUOTE="Diablo2343"]According to Gamasutra.com, Xbox UK head Neil Thompson told the BBC that Microsoft would consider supporting the Blu-ray format if it becomes significantly more popular than HD-DVD, which the company currently supports through a $199 Xbox 360 peripheral. "Whatever format wins it is highly likely we will offer a solution," he said. "The only debate is if you want to watch Blu-ray movies and pay the extra money for that feature. We prefer to offer the consumer choice."
Thoughts.....
If they come out with a Blu-Ray external drive like the HD-DVD drive(which I currently own), I would purchase it. There are many movies out for Blu-Ray I would like to have not available to HD at this time.
Diablo2343
never, it's a sony product The Blu-ray Disc format was developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association, a group of leading consumer electronics, personal computer and media manufacturers, with more than 180 companies from all over the world.
If Sony owned it outright, why would there be other Blu-Ray players out there.
So please read the entire posting before making a dumb--- statement.
