The most amazing thing about watching those videos is that fact that it's an RPG with that type of gameplay. I hope they have plenty of vehicle segments in the final release.

They changed the graphics because the new look is awesome. If you need a game to look "realistic" regardless of gameplay then there are plenty of games out there for you. If you need realism just look outside your window. This game doesn't look like XIII or TF2 btw.
This might be the best footage yet, badass audio. Nice score/music, voice acting and gun sounds.

It distinguishes itself from Fallout 3, but the reason it looks like that is because once they finished the engine or something, the artists were bored and did their own thing (i.e. these cell shaded graphics), then showed it to everyone, they liked it and decided to stick with the look. I for one agree with their decision, looks very good.
