I'm stuck between getting Borderlands and Dragon Age.

I can only afford to get two games this year-ish, and i'm definately getting Call of Duty 6.

But i'm stuck between the other two.

Dragon age adds variety, because its not a shooter.

But Borderlands is awesome but it just has a crappy story, but Dragon Age doesn't.

Please help a brother out, or any other preferable reletive.

Borderlands has a crappy story yes but the 4 players coop will keep you busy for a good while. :) but so will dragon age with its story but yeah, i prefer Borderlands mainly for the 4 players coop.

I'd say go with Borderlands since I've played it and think it's great. You probably can't go wrong either way though. Borderlands is more about the action/gameplay, Dragon Age is more about the story. Borderlands doesn't have any cut scenes like the Bioware games. The cut scenes in Mass Effect were good but sitting through them annoyed me after the first playthrough.

I would have to go with Dragon Age. I love RPG's and I love Bioware and it has 60-80 hours worth of gameplay. Can not go wrong with that.

I would have to say buy Borderlands, and see If someone in your family will get you Dragon Age for Christmas.

I am in the same predicament. It is a tough choice, but I think no matter which you purchase you'll be happy because both are/will be great games. If you have friends with Borderlands though, I think that is the way to go right now. If not, go with Dragon Age.

Dragon Age is you want story and traditonal RPG elements

Borderlands if you want co-op and gunplay. Story is fail.

Borderlands has great co op play. Dragon Age: Origins is a massive rpg with many, many hours of gameplay a la Oblivion. Both have their god points, and very few weak points. Personally...I would go with Dragon Age, as I am a big Oblivion fan.

I personally think Dragon Age will be better, and I'm more excited for it. Haven't played Borderlands yet. But I'll be getting them both within the next couple weeks.

Since you can only buy two games I think you should take advantage of the buy 2 games and get 1 free game of the same or lesser value deal that is going on Best Buy.

Just buy Borderlands and Dragon Age and pick a third game that is $59.99. Don't open the third game and wait until Modern Warfare 2 comes outto exchange it.

Probably just want to see what Dragon Age ends up like. I love playing Borderlands at the moment, but Dragon Age is the game I'm really looking forward to. Bioware has never disappointed me.
