Broken 360? (Help)

So i was on XBL with my cousine playing some gears when all in a sudden he signs out. then my phone rings and he says that he just lost power in his house. He said that the green light turned orange right before It shut off. It wasnt pluged into a surge protector. Is this the dreded orange light I keep hearing about? I am asking for my cousine because obviously he cant. Thanks for all the help guys, Ill be waiting for your answears.

Unplug your power brick and it will still stay orange for like 10 seconds, that is because it stores power inside, enough to power it for a little longer. He lost power, but the brick stayed lit only because of the reason I just stated, not because of a broken Xbox /thread
