[QUOTE="funnysplay"]Because you pay 60$ to experience it for yourself.
And if you hate it you lose your money, thats why you read reviews.

Exactly. I am not at the point in my life where my main expense is video games thanks to christmas / birthday / allowance. I have a wife and kids, car payments, house mortgage, a cottage and student debt to pay off. so if reading reviews is going to help me wade through the crap and get to the good stuff, then thats what im going to do.
Not trying to pick a fight here, but I too have a wife, a car, a full-time job in accounting, a mortgage, utilities, etc and I'm able to buy a few games a month without breaking the bank. It's all in how you budget money. My point is (and one that everyone seems to be forgetting) that if you liked the first two, this is just more of the same. So if you're a fan you'll more than likely enjoy this game.

Well if you dont want to pick a fight, then dont.
If I chose to put that money into my kids college funds, then I will do so.

Then that's your choice (and thank you for being a responsible parent! :)), but don't make it seem like we should feel sorry for you for having the same responsiblities as the rest of us. I don't have kids, so I can imagine that they suck up a lot of money, but like I said it's a budget. I'll leave it at that.
Hellloooo
How come no one uses metacritic? Metcritic.com is a website that searches for review articles/magazines/websites and posts them all, and averages the scores.
Metacritic.com
BIA: HH has:
90/100
81/100
79/100
How are those bad scores? "anything below 8 is bad" thats just stupid.

the last thing I want is ANYONE feeling sorry for me....and that is not what I am trying to do at all. Budgeting is one thing, and for the most part it is ok, but as you said, you dont have children, so you wouldn't know what its like to have your kids come to you with a list for christmas that is a miiiiiile long. Now obviously, as I am a parent, I am going to put more money towards what MY CHIRLEND want for christmas before what I WANT!

And that's completely respectable! :D I admire that you take care of your kids so well. Most people don't, you'd be suprised. Actually you wouldn't, just watch the evening news. Just don't read me wrong. I'm friend, not foe. :P

ya man no worries, I understand what you are saying, and really you are right. I know personally that I CAN afford to buy a few games a month, but I just cant. I feel guilty if I do and I feel like im wasting my money. I try to limit myself to maybe one new game every couple of months for this reason. but with this HUGE lineup this fall, I have to break my rules!!
Somewhat concerned w/ the AI, if anybody read the TeamXbox review. The stated for the time it took to get this game out, you should not see your guy running into a bush for a few seconds before freeing up and running to the spot. Also when they take cover they dont move a step or two to the right or left to lay down some fire. The building sweeps were linear and dont try to send your guys over a large distance. Replay value not too great. On-line might as well as be non-existant. 10 man capture the flag. I may rent it. I loved the first BIA on Xbox. 2nd was ok. I think people think COD4 when talking about FPS. ITs a tactical FPS. Gearbox does a great job in the maps/cities.Diablo2343
I just read the videogamer.com review, and I cant say Ive ever read one of their reviews, but from what I read the AI is pretty competent.
