Did u try watching the previews with ur eyes closed? The game is truy a Halo 2.5...the onlynew feature it brings is the "saved movie" crap which is ok for people who make montages and stuff but for most people its gonna be a fad and everyones soon gonna forget about it. Just like halo 3 which is gonna be overshadow by even better games coming out.

My hopes? yes, as they are very low at this point, i can't be disapointed. As for them only wanting to make money, of course, you could sell dirt for gold if it as Halo written on it, we are very thick when it comes to brand fidelity and they will use that as much as they can. Can you say Halo themed monopoly?

All companies are like that, you can make millions with a good name and a crappy product, look at all the movie derived games. They could be good, but why bother? The extra $ invested in devs would offset the benefits. The name will sell it and they will buy it, not us hardcore gamers, but your regular Joe with 1.5 kids will.

halo3 will not be overshadowed by anything. and honestly..anybody that is STILL calling halo3's graphics "halo2.5"..need to watch the trailer afew more times and stop trying to compare it to a game that is suppose to look realistic (ex:crysis).

those things can be found in any other FPS game...well except for the 4 player co-op of course. but i doubt there is gonna be a "10 mile draw distance". But when ur crying for ur mom because the game is medicore ill be laughing.

And DullBozer ur are exactly right ..its good to see some halo fans here havent been brainwashed. But its true about what u said about the brand name, which is really sad because other games are gonna be better than halo but people arent gonna acknowledge it because in their mindset Halo is the king of game and can't be beat just because of its brand and popularity.

im not comparing it too crysis because they arent even on the same console. Im comparing the gfx for Mass Effect and some what on Gears because the SHOULD be able to top those graphics. I have seen all the videos and still the graphics look sub-par. Even some screens looks horrible. But im hoping that when i play the game all the action will keep me busy so i wont realize how bad the gfx are.Banned2x

what do you mean by "all the videos"? you still looking at the MP beta videos? and explain how just because halo3..in your opinion..doesnt look better then mass effect or gears of war..that automaticly makes its own graphics bad? i warned people months ago that anybody who is expecting halo3 to look just like gears of war will be in for a huge upset since halo and gears of war have two different artstyles. not to mention 2 different game engines ( you mentioned gears of war and mass effect..both are using the unreal engine) maybe you should wait untill you actually play the game or atleast see a trailer truly showing somebody playing the game before you complain how bad its graphics are.

why dont you go tell bungie they dont care. A company that started in a ****ing basement for crying out loud. A company thats been working on a game for over 2 years, where as companies like EA spend less than a year on recycled **** like madden. Think about this: they put in SO much effort to make sure that we get everything we want in the game, everyone complained when they thought there wasnt online co-op, so now they come out and say they've got it, and people complain about the elites. They release a game that looks way better than halo 2 (look at the new RVB video's vs. the old ones if you dont believe me) and still people complain. This is what they do every day from 9-5, usually much longer, and they put 10 times more effort into their job that most of the complainers out there do, and they catch **** for it. Some people are so ****ing ungreatfull i swear. /rant.

and second....... if halo scores a 9.5 or10i will shave off my pubes, put them in my frosted flakes and eat them!

and im hoping for the game to rival my previous expectations but istill have doubts so we'll see wat happenes when it some out.
