if you want fun street racing get need for speed if you want fun arcade racing then get burnout both fun games in my bookGen007
i totally agree m8, both are one of the best, they have different nice ways.
but i guess my vote is for NFS:Carbon

They are both arcade games. And to tell the truth, Burnout looks even more like a street racer then Need for Speed. At Burnout there are tons of drivers on the road, in Need for Speed to are lucky to encounter more then one every kilometer.Â

Have you played the game? There are loads of routes to come across in NFS:C. Not to mention the variety. You can go through the city, or stick to quiet roads on the outside of town.
There are loads of nice features, actually customizing your ride (not just choosing parts but making them!), nice selection of cars (muscle cars (old and new)), exotic cars, and tuner cars), and a new gameplay aspect where you'll get challenged by rival crews. From my experience, Burnout is just racing and smashing...
NFS:C get my vote for sure.
have you played most wanted?

Need for Speed - Most Wanted , was the better game.
Carbon was utter trash. I can't believe EA put that game out after putting out an amazing game like Most Wanted.

Yes, I played Carbon on my old account. It was pretty much crap. A short 5 hour career mode combined with terrible driving machanics. There was a Wing Man feature which wasn't needed at all. And above all, the game was ridiculiously easy. It sure was put together as fast as EA could do it. Carbon has nothing on Burnout gameplay.Â
If you played it once then I can see your point about it being short. But there are 3 different classes to work with here... Easily making a 14-16 hour game.processedkill
Yes, but the main length of a game if not determined by replay value as well. Because in that case Gears of War would be an 30 hour game. Once on Hardcore, once on Insane and once in co-op. Really though, what I just said was just my opinion. I use to love Need for Speed Underground and Underground II was my favorite of the series. Most Wanted was cool too with the addition of police. But, in my opinion, they just rushed out Carbon too fast.

I agree. Carbon was a big let down after Most Wanted. Hope the next one will be better. But as for Carbon vs Burnout, I'd still pick Caron. I'm just not big on the Burnout series.
