Forgive me if this is completely naive, but I'm wondering if it's possible to buy MS points online if all I readily have available is an ATM card. (Somewhat new to the world of bank cards and banking in general so again, sorry if this is an incredibly obvious question.)

I believe you can on xbox.com if you have your account setup on there....its easy to setup by using your email and gamertag Also, you can use your card on xbox live and purchase points there, it will just come out of your bank in 2-3 days instead of instantly (Debit means it comes out the same day and you use your pin, credit means you dont use your pin and it takes a few days to process and come out of your account)

You need a debit or credit card, ATM cards won't work.
