Call of Duty 2 or Call of Duty 3

Doing the CC deal after work today and wanted some opinions...should I get COD2 for $13.99 or COD3 for $39.99

I'm interested in the complete package (multiplayer and single)

COD2. The only thing better in 3 are the graphics and the grenade cook/toos back.robotecha5

One question: Where are you buying your game? If you are buying the game at Gamestop/Ebgames then you may want to buy both of them used because you can save money by using the EDGE card.DaveG92

They have them at that price at Circuit City

cod 2 = better single player
cod 3 = better online play

I agree with that.

CoD3 is a much better game. While CoD2 has great single player, CoD3 has superior multi player, and it's single player isn't actually that bad.THEWINDWAKER10

              I am new to the boards and had a quick question.   I went by my local Circuit City and didn't see COD2 on sale. It was listed at 29.99. Can anybody help me out, perhaps I was not looking in the right area. I was looking in XBOX 360 games. I would appreciate any help!

CoD2 = better overall
CoD3 = respectable sequel to 2, but just not up to par. damn you IW.

I went ahead and got both...it was a no brainer COD2 for an exta $14 bucks.  So far the action and graphics on COD3 are waaaay more intense...gameplay on both seems the same.  I'm sure action/story will change as I progress but I decided to play COD2 first and leave COD3 for multiplayer for now.

Both look amazing tho.  I can't believe COD2 was a launch game.

Hey Suzi...just pick up a flyer when you get to the store.  Both prices are in the flyer.  I actually went to the cash register to check out and had to tell them to adjust the price because it rang up as $59.99.  The reason being COD3 is $59.99 and COD3 Gold Edition (or something like that) was $39.99

Either way, they'll match for you!  Don't miss out on this deal tho
