It's important to remember that UAV's, Airstrikes, and Choppers only occur at 3, 5, and 7, kills in a row. Therefore, if you get say 7 kills which brings in the chopper, and then go on to get three more kills without dieing you will NOT get another UAV. The cycle does not restart until you die. So if you call in the chopper and then suddenly die, any kills the chopper gets after you respawn is added to the kill streak counter which has restarted at zero.
To sum it up, yes chopper kills count towards your kill streak, but after you get the chopper you cannot get another chopper or any of the other call in benefits until you die and restart the counter.

Yes that's the point of the thread. But it doesn't work as intended, from what you are saying, which I pointed out before...Someone could get a chopper, Die on purpose, and hide somewhere on a map like shipment and wait for the chopper to pick up 7 kills, but that doesn't work. Somehow you have to make either a certain number of kills, die at a certain point (either before or after you call in the chopper)or a kill at the right time to actually reset your counter and start another streak.
I'll do some testing tonight for you guys, it's just very inconsistent. I don't understand why the chopper works for your streak sometimes but not others.
