Lets not forget about this game, it could easily end up being one of the best FPS's coming out this year. But is ever1 happy that they dropped ww2 and went modern? i believe that they wore out ww2, and they also wanted to stop being compared to hour of victory. who will buy this, and will it beat the other call of dutys and even beat other popular titles like halo3, bioshock, battlefield bad company, gears, vegas, graw2, ect?!!
you said it. i like how it's about the war in Iraq, we can really relate it to our time. like think if a WW2 game came out during WW2? that would be the coolest thing. it's gonna be great (better than Halo 3)
Yea the game does look fantastic. And to whoever said the game is taking place in Iraq is incorrect. They have already said they arent basing it on any war fougt / being fought. They made their own up. And I think it takes place across multiple countries and fake conflicts.
How Can we forget? Did you see the trailers on Gametrailers.com. This games got Game of the year/multiplayer game of the year stamp, taged, writen, painted all over it.
im pretty sure call of duty 4 isnt quite goty this year. That said im still probably buying it. Even if it is better than Halo 3 it still has to beat UT3 and Bioshock, and those are just the shooters. Theres also GTAIV, Mass Effect and ace combat 6.
