Dunno i use the m4 wth stopping power, bandolier and deep impact. Works for me, i think the m21 would be best at close range due to its semi-auto shots.

As for the strongest it would be the barret 50cal or R700, both have same damage. 50 cal is less accurate but the fire rate goes up, r700 is excact oposite, accuracy but lower fire rate.

Close range i'd say M21 with an acog.

Most powerful is Barret with stopping power, (i've actually found it more sccurate that the r700, despite what stats say)

But i use the m40 with stopping power. Great Accuracy, low recoil, and with sopping power you get 1 shot kills almost every time.
