But isn't COD WOW the newer version and is there anymore online playing in COD 4?

COD4 still averages about 75000+ people online at peak hours. yea, tons of people still play both. It's just a matter of whether you wanna play with newer guns, or ww2 guns. Because they're almost the same thing
Call of Duty 2: Best campaign, but isn't really active online. Call of Duty 3: Multiplayer and campaign were alright, but it gets a lot of hate because it wasn't as good as the previous ones. IMO it had a good campaign with some intense moments. Call of Duty 4: Great online, good but short single player. World at War: Call of Duty 4 with WWII paint. Can't judge the online but I personally the campaign, while just a little bit longer than CoD4's, was great.

I kinda agree with this one, although for me the best campaign and multiplayer goes to COD3...I loved that game so much. You should play all of them, but if you want an addicting multiplayer game get Call of duty 4.
