Can Anyone Recomended any good games?

Cod4.bioshock, mass effect,Assasins creed...Madden o8, Plenty out there ....

apart from all the big names, im going to suggest the orange box. it is amazing. if you havent played hl2, you need to play it, episode two, which is new, is one of the best gaming experiences i have ever had. its lasted me a long time too. its going to last a lot longer. im still yet to play portal or team fortress 2. the graphics arent as pretty as some of the newest games but i still think the game looks great (the two episodes each have improvements over the precursor so they do get better)mattg90520

I have The Orange Box also, and I personally love it. I wasn't too impressed by Portal, but the Half Life episodes are amazing and so is TF2. I seriously reccomend getting this also.

I didnt liek Half Life 2 that much. It is enjoyable though and there are some damn good scenes you play through. (Its old though, and it looks like it).

For me MassEffect is one of the best games i played the last two years, but thats a question of taste i believe.

Assassin's Creed has good graphics and kinda cool gameplay, but it gets very monotonous (is that spelled right?^^). Again, for me thats no real problem, i love the setting, story etc.

CoD4 has not impressed me that much till now. I am only half an hour in though. (Whats that graphic discussion all about? It looks mediocre at best, only the lighting is topnotch)

Gears = coolness in game-form but the effect wears out fast (well, its old now)

Guitar Hero 2 + 3 ... those games are plain fun. If you hang out with your friends, relatives much, it is well worth the money. (Rockband isnt out here yet)

Virtua Fighter 5 you like fighting games ... get that one! If you dont, do NOT get that one hehe.

You just have to decide what kind of game you like, the XBOX offers you the best of most genre(s).
