Sorry if this has been covered - couldn't find anything on it. Can I transfer my 20gb drive from my current console to a new slimline xbox?

no, you need to transfer them using the microsoft brand transfer cable. it'll only work assuming you have less than 4gb of data in your 20gb hd

Sorry gents but the real answer is yes you can if you have torx's bits and enough smarts to

search the internet for the proper way to do it the hard drive new or old are sata 2.5 laptop drives

so in escense you can buy a 1tb hard drive and connect it if you want to badly enough

remember the world is your oyster just go out and get it have a good one gamers.

I watched the video, and it seems pretty simple. You shouldn't get banned because you are using their hard drive. Your just taking the plastic off.

You can, but you have to take out of the original case and the procedure to put the HDD it in is a little tricky, but it's possible and nobody is getting banned for it (at least at the moment), although if something goes wrong relating to that (the Hard drive breaks) your basically on your own. This Youtube video shows you how it's done.
