Can i make a gamertag before i get the 360

Can i make one up to check the gamertag all out or do i have to wait and make one with the 360.?

also, does the gamertag check your age from the .Net Passport?

You can create one on Xbox.com free. However, you will not be eligable for a free 1 month trial of Xbox Live Gold when you use it on the Xbox 360.Thorpe89

Why not just wait with creating a gamertag when you actually get the 360. :|

you have to make a new account through the dashboard to be eligible for the free month trial. if you use any existing account or email, then it will just be a silver account.

Why not just wait with creating a gamertag when you actually get the 360. :|
