Someone/Some company has already developed a mod for it. It was featured on AOTS about a couple weeks ago, and I'm sure Microsoft will show its hand soon.

I hate motion sensitive crap... its too hard to think about shaking the controler and moving/shooting/aiming while shaking it or tilting it. Im glad the 360 doesnt have any motion sensitive crap

Wii games are really the only games that need such a control. Ive played the PS3 and prefer using the control the normal way. Even if they did make a control for the 360 name one game that it would improve. None that I can think of. It would just be a Wii wanna be.

They is what i can find on the net, regarding a sixaxis sort of thing my a third party....

June 20th 2007- At long last it's time for Xbox 360TM owners to feel the benefits of tilt sensation, something of which PS3TM owners have been privileged to since its inception. Moreover, the Nintendo WiiTM is a prime example of just how instrumental interactive controllers can be in providing a highly enjoyable gaming experience. Talismoon is delighted to the release the second generation of its Tiltboard controller, featuring a high quality design which is guaranteed to be even more user friendly than the PS3's SIXAXISTM controller. Talismoon's Tiltboard sports a unique u-shaped board that puts the two Tiltboard control buttons within easy reach of gamers fingers, with one button conveniently located on either wide of the wireless controller battery pack. This gives gamers the ability to make on the fly tilt adjustments during a game without even stopping. This comes in particularly handy for instances in games when it is necessary to switch between both stick and tilt control.

The Tiltboard is an intelligent piece of kit and comes pre-loaded with TiltTune TM technology which is the most user friendly firmware available for such a device. Gamers have the option to adjust the tilt sensitivity, adjust the 0 degree in order to hold the controller at the most comfortable angle, invert the Y axis and turn the tilt function on and off. Everything required to enjoy the latest sensation in console gaming on Xbox 360TM comes in a convenient package and requires only seven wires to solder.

The specs:

  • Custom Fit Design
  • 2 multifunction buttons within easy reach
  • Requires soldering 7 wires
  • "Best practice" install method eliminates control loss as controller battery life weakens
  • Persistent memory keeps your TiltTune settings even if there is no power to your controller.
  • The new tiltBoard comes preloaded with tiltTune technology TM, the most user friendly firmware available, including:
    1. Adjust tilt sensitivity
    2. Adjust the 0 degree so that you can hold the controller at whatever angle is natural for you
    3. Invert the Y axis (independently for either the stick or the tilt)
    4. Turn the tilt on and off (switch between stick and tilt)

I think you mean motion control because rumble has been around a while. I may be wrong but I thought Nintendo had the rumble feature for the N64 before Sony did.

Swinging the controller like a golf club, or bat, I could care less about. I think that will die with time. But the IR pointer I think is awesome, and I would love to enhance Halo, or Bio, or R6V with an IR pointer similar to Wii's mote. The tilt could also begood to compliment flying/ racing games. If MS provided any of those, I don't think the next-gen race would be so close. MS would be far ahead of Nintendo.

Next gen Xbox 720or whatever it's namedshould come with all the motion stuff anyway. It can be optional, those who don't want an IR pointer can use the classic control instead. The basis of the games wouldn't have to change for a light gun or pointer just for motion.

Why would you want one? It makes room for games with craptastic controls like Lair. Dual analog is enough for me I don't wanna tilt my controller unless it's Kirby Tilt & Tumble lol

Yea ... i have to agree with most of the posts here. I do not want ANY motion control built in. The whole Wii-mote nunchuk control is a huge turnoff to me. When I'm relaxing with a good game, the last thing i wanna do is be up moving around ... let the thumbs do the work.

Sadly, most, if not all of your post is completely wrong, first, Nintendo made the rumble pack, not sony. it was a rumble pack that you plugged into your N64 controller. Second, 360 does have rumble. Atleast, I hope it does otherwise my hands are vibrating for absolutely no reason...

LOL so that they can make crappy games like Lair!!! Ok jus kiddin... Honestly if you look at the number of PS3 games where the Sixaxis motion sensing has been useful i think it's only evident that the feature is just unnecessary or full of flaws...

Why? I really don't see the point of tipping my controller for more controls. Half the time I'm not really sitting all front and center for a game anyways. IMO PS3's controller is just a sad attempt to steal another one of Nintendo's controller ideas like they've done pretty much their entire career.
