Mkay. So I had a friend over and we hooked both our Xbox's up to my router via a Ethernet cable. It didn't work so we scrapped the idea and played split screen. He went home and we both went on Xbox live. We weren't able to join games or join a party. The day before he came over we had never had issues joining each other. We were both able to join everybody else on our friends list too. We checked our NAT and both of ours are open, we cleared our cache on our Xbox's, and we have both restarted our routers. WHAT IS WRONG? Please help this is driving me insane!
Probably the same Xbox live issue that darkghost75 and I have asked about;.
Apparently there were some issues with the latest updates (performed on the 16th) that have affected some certain xbox live accounts (although not others apparently)
They are in the process of fixing it but not date has been set.
i was just about to ask this in a new post but makes sense here
im about to have my old xbox fixed due to e74 being free now and have a second tv so il have 2 setups in my apartment
if my buddy has his live account on memory card he should technically be able to sign on and both of us play off my internet connection on different accounts right?
I'd suggest doing something like resetting the internet settings on both your consoles and cycling your routers. If that doesn't work, it might just be your internet... for a while I couldn't join parties due to comcast maintenance.
