Can't play eachother

Hey! Me and my brother was thinking of playing eachother today, but then a big problem came. When i challenge him to play a Fifa 08 match and he accepted then suddenly when he came to the room we both got ''Game session no longer available..'''

We tried ofcourse again and the same thing happened over and over again..

So we tried to play another game, Rainbow Six Vegas, and the same thing happened.

So we both decided to see if we could play with other people and we both could.

We can send messages to eachother but we can't have Private Chat.

We have checked if we have blocked eachother or something but we havent.

So what is the problem? Anyone else experienced this?

We really want to play eachother so i really hope someone can help us:D

Check to make sure your NAT's are set to OPEN first of all. Then I would make sure you both are in the same gamerzone and prefer each other as players.

That SHOULD work.

Wouldn't be your NAT of you couldn't set up the game to start off with...and you would beable to play online at all.....Thats going to be a tough one contact MS and ask them then post the solution on here i wonder what the problem is myself

GamerZone ???? whats that ??? and wouldn't the match play from the disk automatically set all that up for you ???? Unless you are using 2 different years like FiFA 07 vs FiFA 05

Yes, it very well likely is his NAT. If his NAT is open, and his brothers is SRICT, then they are going to have a hard time chatting and getting in the same rooms. If your NAT is STRICT it in no way means he would have a hard time playing online "at all".

Yes, it very well likely is his NAT. If his NAT is open, and his brothers is SRICT, then they are going to have a hard time chatting and getting in the same rooms. If your NAT is STRICT it in no way means he would have a hard time playing online "at all".

If the NAT was set to STRICT he wouldn't beable to play online at all against anyone they would have noticed that from day 1 unless it reset it's self to STRICT which is not impossible but extremely unlikely

Finally it worked! We both went to test X-live connection and we both had open, and after that it worked!

Basicly the same thing happens to me, a friend and i have played eachother at Halo or CoD4 everyday since the day i got Live (November i think) we've played in countless games, but, i think it was two days ago, its recently said Unable to connect to host, i cant Chat him but i can message him, EXPLAIN THAT!MickaelJulliard
