I really can't keep up. I mean, maybe if I didn't work, I would have much more free time, but even then, it doesn't seem like I could keep up with all the games being released so close together. They aren't even just games, these are A+ to B+ titles! And also, there is much more on the horizon! I'm not here to complain, this is great for us gamers, but man, it is overwhelming.

So I beat Farcry 2 last night, completed Force Unleashed, finally beat Bioshock, (i know, right?) cleaned out the Super-Duper Mart in Fallout 3, and I'm thinking of picking up Gears of War 2. Now the problem is, I haven't gotten a chance to play Fable II yet, and there are a handful of more games that I want coming out soon! Red Alert 3, Left for Dead, Need For Speed, Mirror's Edge. I guess I am lucky that I don't have a PS3 yet else I'd be deeper in the trench.

How are you guys keeping up or which games are you playing in what order? :)

I'm not keeping up at all. I JUST completed Fable II last night, still need to play Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 for more than the first few hours, am getting Gears tomorrow and I STILL have a back-catalogue of games I have to play.

First time I've actually complained about having TOO MANY games.

I happen to have both consoles so it's even worse for me. It's getting overwhelming, I'm currently playing Lost Odyssey, Far Cry 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Dead Space with Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 sometime in the next few days! After that, there's at least 3 other games I want before the end of the year. A lot of these are going to spill over into early 2009, it's just crazy.

I'm pretty caught up with al of my gaming. Finished Fallout 3 in about 2 days, with all the side quests complete, and a nearly completed world map.

Since I didn't play the first Fable, I was really looking forward to Fable II, or at least I didn't have any form of expectation for it, but I'll give it a try.

I've got Dead Space on its way from an eBay seller right now, and I'll be playing Fable II after Dead Space, along with GOW2, then Mirror's Edge sometime later.

Its almost a good thing to be behind, because if you wait to purchase your games later, they will have gone down in price, maybe $10, or if late enough, $20.

I hear ya. I don't have any time to play even one game nearly. I finished Dead Space, going through on Impossible right now (which isn't all that hard btw). I've decided to wait with Gears 2 either until I'm desperate for a new game or when it's 30 E's because I'm not interested in the multiplayer. I'm getting Mirror's Edge next week with a 20% discount from my friend (how cool is that) and I'm either getting Shaun White Snowboarding or Stoked. Still not sure.

Indeed! There simply isn't enough time, not to mention the affect all these releases have on your checking account..eh? I tend to pace myself during such times. Soon there will be some downtime where highly anticipated releases are few and far between and that is usually when I play catch up. :)

I'm not caught either, haven't even gotten Fable 2 yet, and CoD:WaW is coming out soon, both of which I'm eager to play.

Yeah, I'm getting fable 2 with gears 2 tomorrow, but I still want to buy Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Mirrors Edge, Left4Dead and possibly CoD WaW soon.. I'd much rather have game releases evenly distributed throughout the year than all crammed into the christmas period. Oh well, it leaves me with plenty to play next year, I guess.

Sorry about that Coker. Yes Cortana, my checking account is not really happy with me right now. :P I totally did not even mention all the XBLA games as well!! I'm hoping Xmas break will be a good time for all of us to get caught up.I proabbly should playthrough Fable II before investing in Fallout 3. Or should i do Gears 2 first!? Ughhhh... lol

I am severely behind. Of the 20 games I own I have only passed 4 maybe 5. The most recent game I completed was Fable 2 and I'm still playing through Far Cry 2.

When the gaming crunch comes I just keep playing what looks best at the time. If I limit to one or two games at a time I do get 'behind', but that is so relative... am I really behind or is the VG industry too fast? A lot of these games drop in price quick so then 'if' I get around to them they not only will be cheaper but possiblly improved upon by someone else. And in the summer everyone complains about not having anything to play, this becomes a good time to catch up. So I guess what I'm really saying is I see no reason to buy all these games right when they come out... And as for the PS3 thing... not to worry... most of these games that are overloading you are multi-plats anyhow, so why buy the same game for a different platform unless you are made of money or something.

I agree raahsnav. I guess I was thinking of games such as resistance, MG4, Wipeout. Maybe it's not worth the $$$, especially in these economic times.

I have Far Cry and Saints row 2, Endwar came today, and Gears 2 will consume my life starting tomorrow. I'm thinking of it as an investment. After christmas I will have about 1000 hours of potential gaming at my fingertips!

I'm having the same problem, as well. I'm still several hours at least away from playing Fallout 3 as thoroughly as I'd like, plus I have Fable 2, Far Cry 2, Dead Space and Resistance 2 to get through. Then Gears of War 2 will be here tomorrow. And on top of that, I've got so many other games that I'm behind on from before. With playing WoW so much the last couple of years, the game pile just continues to grow. And I'd like to go back and re-visit some favorites when I have time, like Mass Effect.

Welcome to my world + a PS3, wife, 2 kids, 4 dogs HAHAHHA. I'm actually trying to juggle Fable II, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Resistance 2 and Dead Space. Been trying so for the past two weeks. Now when GEoW 2 hits my collection I'll be in trouble because CoD WaW hits next week and L4D the week after. I've got three weeks left until I go on my 273.5 hour Paid Vacation from work. I'm taking my 360 with me, of course the wife and kids have to come also. Just as long as theres a Best Buy near just in case I get the RROD so I can trade it in. To come to think of it.....I'm getting paid to play my games and spend time with my family. I only require about $240 or so a month to sustain my gaming habits. A little under 6 hours of work a day for me, the rest goes to the wife, house, kids, dogs, fuel and taxes.
