I just bought the game (after trying the demo) and its great ! it really brings back the feel of the old scroll brawlers but with a new and distinct style and some add-ons. Musics great, graphics and design kicks ass, I cant wait to play coop online ! : ) Who else bought it and is hyped ? : )
Me , i feel like kicking my young brother from sleep to get him to play the game with me :) i just had a little imagination of me and him playing.....this game is indeed awesome....really good.

1200 points so you really have to like the demo if you're going to spend the money
For 15 dollars I expect a bit more of a return. Especially how other titles this summer have been more robust when it comes to gameplay and have cost substantially less.
Side scrolling beat-em-up don't usually go much more robust than this ... probably cause there's no point really. By far : there's a lot of weapons, a lot of upgrades, animal orbs (whatever that is ?), dragon riding (goldenaxish), rpg-like experience points and level ups, combos, magic, items, how more robust could it get anyway ?

I'm lovin it. I like the little wink and nod to Double Dragons when you gotta fight your teamates for the chick. This game is everything I expected. Oh... and sandwiches are awesome.
This is the best that Live Arcade has to offer. When this summer arcade special started I was excited and now that it is over, I can't complain one bit. First, there was BRAID, which was great, then it was surpassed by BIONIC COMMANDO REARMED. Then the only letdown was GALAGA LEGIONS, which wasn't bad, but compared to the rest, is not as special. Now, the top game of the summer arcade special has been released and IT ROCKS. 1200 points for a game that will last you much longer than most $60 retail games, how can you beat that. Thank You Behemoth, you keep making these awesome arcade titles and I will keep buying them.
I just played the demo, and Damn the game is freaking fun. I honestly didn't think it would play so well. I absolutely love everything about it, I'm gonna have to buy some more points, I thought it was gonna be 800, but it doesn't matter.
On a side note, whats up with these new arcade games costing 1200 MS points? This price looks like a turn off for some people.

Actually I kind of think we were spoiled for a while with the prices. Maybe I'm alone but I think for the amount of entertainment I've gotten out of some of these XBLA titles that $5 or $10 was a bargain. Probably was inevitable that they'd go up in price. $15 is still pretty fair in my eyes.
After playing for over 3h with my girlfriend in coop i have to say one thing : REPLAY VALUE IS AWSOME !!!!!!! Playing with different characters is really different, skill levels actually differ the gameplay further in a great manner, levelling up is very addictive, Ill probably max out all characters (and theres a bunch including the alien from alien hominid).
Anyone tried sandwiches yet ? Awsome effect 0_o : ) and those scenes where your being chased by a monster-mega-cat this game is ridiculous at times : ) in a good way. Paying 15 bucks for this kinda entertainment is still a bargain ! (the same with Braid which is awsome : ) ).
Instant classic and for me a precious xclusive for the 360 : )

I checked out the trial, and I still don't know. I don't like 1200 pricepoints for arcade games, because no matter how good they are, you get fed up of them eventually, and for me, it's usually only after a few days of playing. I am waiting for all of the reviews.

The same could be said for many retail games, even great ones like Bioshock. Anyways this is a 10/10 for an arcade game.

Yeah thats true , but for castle crashers its a thing like " dude you can't miss this " type of thing......it will leave you amazed , speachless and laughing hard ...espically if your playing with a friend or friends or loved ones locally :) the RPG system adds to the replay value alot , unlockable characters and also weapons and collecting animals which each animal has something special ....like for example one can heal your health slowly .etc like that stuff , not to mention this is the longest arcade game i played ... believe me the single player is 9 hours ....some have finished it in 5 hours , but if you take your time with the game..it'll be longer :) just saying that this game is totally worth it.;)
The game is absolutely amazing. But I don't understand how Braid scored more than it. The game is more than twice the lenght (is for me), four times the fun (with friends), online, brilliant audio and amazing visuals.
