when i play music through the 360 with my ipod it. doesnt play any of the cds that i have put on my ipod. how do i make this work if its even possible

You can't. This is because Microsoft has an arrangement with Apple that you can't even play anything from an iPod. I read this one time over at xbox.com

However, just ttake the CD and record it onto your 360s hard drive
