It's Microsoft not Apple...Seriously if CoD2-3 maps still aren't free...why the hell would the brand new 1 week old CoD4 maps suddenly be free? Quit being cheap, it's 10 bucks.

Yea, because gamers spoke up about it. And those guns should have been in the game in the first place.

These maps are addons, showing good support from IW. No way will they be free. If they were ever free, PC gamers would be the first to get them. If PC doesn't even have the maps then no they wont be free.

COD4 maps will NEVER be free. They are still charging for both of the COD2 packs. MOST games do not ever put the maps out for free. People just assume they do because all they know is halo does.

edit: Not just halo... Rainbow Six(2 map sets) gears of war added a bunch of content for free. Many games put out free downloads, not just halo.

If you buy COD4 GOTY you already get the token for the free maps

If you have the game already. Its $10 for the maps. If you don't have the game already and go buy the GOTY Edition, thats $60. So theyre still not free.

Well not free, but you save 10 bucks! which is pretty much free, because many people bought the game for 60 without the maps!

or just buy the GOTY and return it, stealing the code, then its free;)

Returning a game after "stealing a code," if thats actually possible, would not only make you an **** but it would be a slap in the face to all the true fans who actually paid for the maps. Not to mention it would make you look like a total cu nt.Tsunami23

meh I could really careless. Thats how me and my friends rent games... well kind of. Just play em' for a certain amount of days, re-seal, or not, and bam! Game industry is a multi-billion dollar industry, i don't really care
