COD4 auto aim ???

while i starting playing my call of duty 4 online, i noticed that it didnt have autoaim set on. I didnt knoy itwusnt working or wut wus wrong so i delt with no autoaimduring my time on xbox live. But now im heraring that the autoaimcomes auto set wen u play the online. But tht wasnt my case
can any of u guys help me, can u turn the auto aim off and on or is there even auto aim on the call of duty 4 online

I'm pretty sure auto aim is single player only.

You really need to learn how to write.

You can adjust auto-aim for single player in the options menu. There is no auo-aim in multiplayer because it would be considered cheating seeing as it's an unfair advantage.

Im 100%, because, ill be aiming at one guy and another guy would run past and my crosshair would track him(ususally me ending up not killing the guy in intentionally wanted to).

There is definatly auto aim.

And its not cheating is everyone has it..because its not an advantage.

Correction to my previous post. No there is no auto-aim. Auto aim would imply that the aiming is done by a specific code built into the game that does the aiming for you. There is only aim-assist; which all console games need due to the inaccuracy of control sticks. The aim assist cannot be turned though.Pirate_X

Well I'll repeat what I said: I can aim fine by myself thank you very much :lol:. I can aim perfectly fine by myself with a joystick. I don't need any assistance. Game programmers need to get this through their heads.

for real dude..they shud stop using aim assist....i play halo 1 on pc online with a 360 controller, the pc version does not have any form of aim assist, and pulling off that 3 shot kill with the pistol is a lot more satisfying without it, than pulling it off on the console.......its really rewarding...the pistol and sniper rifle are all i ever use......

there is auto aim go into settings should be there is for me and it doesnt give u an advantage it just makes it easier like swing gun to fast wnt go way off gettin u killed but yeah it will track some people just sty still look a 1200 300 600 and 900 it depends on gun range and wat not

Wrong....if by auto aim you mean the aiming on a npc by pressing the left trigger. But i think your talking about the aim that moves your crosshair with the foe. Along with aiming assist, there is also a bullet auto aim. I've had a sniper get an unscoped head shot on me wayyyy to many time for there not to be bullet auto aim.

i didnt think there was any autoaim for cod4 online. i know theres a "snap to" feature in the single player. but online im pretty sure there is no auto aim.saiyanlarry

There is, try putting your (red dot sight) crosshair, over someone who is moving and dont move, you'll see it.

Yes you can, there is a built in option in the 360 to turn Auto-Aim off in shooters. And I'm pretty sure there's also an option in one of the game's menus.
