What are you talking about?I guess I don't get it.I got this game Friday with some Christmas cash and the guy handed it to me and said "this is one of the best games so far".That is what I've been hearing so thats why I got it.I popped it in Saturday morning and I finished the same day.Now having just finished Half Life 2,Halo 3 (I didn't like) and Bioshock.This was a step backwards.There is nothing to see here.Nothing great nothing wowed me in any way.Well when I snapped the dogs neck that was cool but thats it.I don't know I guess I just don't get it.I gave it an 8.0 because it played smooth and I had fun with the sniper rifle.So its not a bad game like Halo 3 but it's not great in any way.It's OK thats it!
You like shoot people and stuff, like bad men in the face and win like wars and stuff. That's what makes it the greatest game ever man. It doesn't matter if it's linear, scripted or unbelievably short and unbalanced multiplayer, you're like shooting stuff and things blow up.

short yes, sucks no. the sp was one of the best in the war game genre
the mp is great too. the only people who complain about it are the people who suck. true fact right there. you have to be good at mp shooters to enjoy cod4 online, cause all ull do is take bullets to the face if ure not

I personally think the game was great but again i dont think it deserved all the hype. And i love the multiplayer even though it can have some stuff fixed on it, it is very fun and i love the challenges and the face shooting madness.

COD games have always had really good Multi-player in my opinion.So I assume this is good too.With Live acting up the way it has been I've yet to play.However because I've never been very good at multi-player games I usually do not care for them that much.Multi-player is only fun if you are any good at it.lol and well... Holy crap, honesty. I dont know how to respond to that. Unfortunatly, since youre already not very good at mp games, and everyone else has a huge headstart on you in terms of playing this game, something tells me you wont have much fun online with this one. Its still worth a try though. Its great.
Idont get people who say this game has weak SP when then they go and say Halo 3 is better. Are you serious? I had my halo 3 and played it for 3 weeks and gave it to my friend. He didnt like it and i sold it. Halo 3 had even shorter Sp than COD4 and in my opinion COD4 has a lot better MP.
its like wow you drop on big boat with baddies. i shoot them POW! sounds so real. Then big boat sink like titanic i love that movie Leo so dreamy. Using rope to drop into battle zone and see terrorist with rocket launchers. i shoot them they go boom. like real life terrorist, go amerca! when I see bad terrorist with sun glasses I kill him like Osama Bin Laden, he dead blood everwhere. Then snapping dogs neck... nice! whoah, then big explosion boom and sky turn red then I dead. cool game

Look, you'll be amazed. For starters, they give you the best gun in the game from the very get go. It's called the M16, shoots a three-shot burst, takes down anybody so long as you pump out two. No chance of survival, provided the majority of your shots landed. If you try and play this game run and gun, your life is going to be hell. This is not a run and gun game. Granted, it's not an uber-tactical game either. It's a delicate balance between the two, a lot of which has to do with how you play it. A quick tip, pay more attention to your K/D ratio than your kill count and you're going to have a much more fulfilling match. Going 30 and 27 is nowhere near as awesome as going 15 and 2.

Well COD4:MW is a really good single-player shooter game, but not great. I think the GRAW 1 & 2 are alot better, and those are the best military shooter single-player games on the Xbox360. I had more fun with Kane & Lynch: Dead Men then I am having COD4:MW.

not true about online MP. i love forza 2 but i cant even turn without breaking a few axles on my car or something. so people who suck can still enjoy games. anyways COD4 isn't about the SP really, its a short but sweet SP.
