Commander Shepard Vs Master Chief

Two similar characters but also two of the greatest ever created in sci fi gaming. Only question left is who's the biggest bad ass?

I'd say Shepard just edges it for banging his own crew members and punching reporters in the face 8)

I liked Shepherd a lot more as you really got to know him plus you can choose what he does.

Tbh i hate the original Shepard, hes white! My characters are always black(when i have the chance to change them), im not racist but im sick of white heros. Hes a bad*** but for me nobody can beat MasterChief on that department. (yes masterchief is probably white but for now hes green/grey :P)gow117

Commander Shepard all the way. Master Chief is just a faceless, emotionless hunk of walking green metal. Shepard is, well, Shepard!

It's really tough to decide. I think that if I were to go with how each of the developers had designed their characters and how they intended them to be, Master Chief is the bigger badass. However, I would like to take a more scientific approach to this question. Each badass has certain things they must do in order to be the ultimate badass.

1. Have they saved the entire human race?

Master Chief: Yes Shepard: Yes

2. Has cool weapons that they use to kill countless enemy aliens?

Master Chief: Yes Shepard: Yes

3. Has a deep gravely voice that intimidates all of his enemies and makes the ladies swoon to him?

Master Chief: Yes Shepard: Only if you play as a male

4. Sleeps with human and alien races alike.

Master Chief: No Shepard: Yes

After intense research and meticulous and detailed calculations, it has been determined that BOTH Master Chief and Commander Shepard are certified badass'.

See, the problem with these games... being "bad" is just so much more rewarding. Taking the "light side" generally doesn't fill me with any satisfaction... I think they should've had the reporter-punch as an option for the neutral side (or something at least so players who only play the game once can experience the awesome) and something a little more drastic for renegade. Like... maybe shooting her. Politely :D
