I just recently purchased a 360, and I was wondering if there was any way to connect the system to my PC to gain internet access. The current setup in my home would require a massive ethernet cable extending from the top floor to bottom floor to be connected to my router, and that really wouldnt look very nice. My PC connects to the router via a wireless modem. I guess what I had hoped to do was use my PC as a hub of sorts so that the connection it recieves would also be recieved by the 360. Any help on issue would be great. Thanks in advance

Yes I'm pretty sure you can share the PC's internet with the Xbox 360, I have done it before with a 3G USB modem and it worked fine, it might be a little more laggy than a normal setup though, especially if you're doing stuff on the pc at the same time.

All you have to do is connect the 360 to the PC via ethernet cable, then share the connection that you recieve internet through and you should be set, you also need to have the computer running whenever you want to connect to the internet.

Hope that helped :D

thanks for the help. I assume i'd have to fiddle around with my network settings on my PC before the connection would be enabled. and how laggy would you say it gets, i'd hate to be the one nobody plays with cuz he has a sucky connection, why would i want to relive my days not being picked for kickball in elementary school lol

Just get a wireless adapter for your 360. That should get you connected to the internet through your wireless router.
