Hey guys....I have been a LONG time Sony supporter and I recently came across about $500 to spend and I was contemplating getting a 360...I just really want to know that if I do buy a 360 that it will be justified by all means.
So....what 360 bundle do you guys think I should get and what game(s)???
It would be justified at least as much as the price of the PS3.
As for the games, there are a ton to choose from. I don't know what your tastes are. Look them up and read the previews and reviews before buying anything. There are a lot of great games that you may not like as well as "not so great" games that you may love. For that reason, you should make up your own mind.
It makes no difference to anyone here if you buy a 360 or not. If you aren't sure, save your money until you find something you really want. Don't just spend $500 because you have $500, that's foolish. Most the people here are going to give you the same lists of games/reasons to buy a 360 but it boils down to what you want, and no one here can answer that as well as you can. So think it over.

Exactly. Besides if you need to be convinced, you probably should be financially sound and wait until you are sure you want to lay down 500 bucks.

a elite would be nice and shooter games like gears of war and halo 3 rocks.
Get an Elite. I've got one, and have never been disappointed.
If you ever get the PS3 cravings (I don't think anyone has those anymore), just ask, "What does the PS3 have that you don't need, and what does the 360 have that everyone loves?"
