I can vouch for Dead Rising, I bought it last summer and I still play it. Lost Planet is one I'll get... going to skip Crackdown.

Dead Rising, definitely. Crackdown is a great game, but there really wasn't much incentive to go back and play it after I beat it and leveled up all the way. Dead Rising on the other hand, I must have played through 3-4 times, and I've recently been thinking about going through again.

Id get dead rising, i could never get into it cuz i had it for about a week from my frined, but crackdown is way to short, so im gonna say dead rising is worth the money, ive never played lost planet, except for the demos.

I already have Gears of War.
Well, you guys keep saying that Dead Rising is alot longer than Crackdown, so that's good.

I dont want to beat it on a weekend like some other game (cough NEW Super Mario Bros. :) ), and I need some lenghty leveling or other dumb and pointless stuff that will keep me going back for more! :D

If it seriously only takes about three days to beat Crackdown, I might have to get it after I get DR.

You know, honestly it really depends. Lost Planet doesn't get much deeper than the demo. Crackdown is GREAT fun while it LASTS. After you get through the whole thing it just becomes a mindless wandering around shooting and blowing up stuff kinda thing. If you're into that, cool. As for Dead Rising, it's fun, awesome party game, but the save system discouraged me from even finishing it at all. If you beat it you get infinate mode or whatever, which means you can just go around killing zombies endlessly, but that should have been the default game mode instead of doing crappy boring missions. Crackdown has Halo 3 demo also though, so consider that.

The save system isnt that bad, one save per storage device if you want more than one game going at a time just use a memory card. You cant even save in infity mode you have to run around and survive for as long as you can with a deteriorating Health Bar. And the missions arnt that boaring there along the same lines as any sort of mission you can finde in a game. I.E. Go to point a before time runs out and kill bad guy, or Rescue person B and return them to point A.

And yeah i realize that ive pretty much helped turn this thread into some sort of Political Platform for Dead Rising as if it was running for office but i love that game so friggin much. Plus i want to make sure Emilio dosent waste his money and knows all the facts before buying something.

I have Lost Planet and I did have Dead Rising.  I got very bored with Dead Rising.  Lost Planet's story isn't fantastic but neither is Dead Rising's.  Lost Planet is a blast.

Dead Rising and Crackdown are both incredible games and sheer fun, but out of the two, you definitely have to play AND completely beat Dead Rising. Just trust me on that, you'll be blown away. That was incredibly hard for me to decide on though, because I haven't played it for months now since I've beaten it, and I'm currently having a blast with Crackdown (which you should also get whenever you can), but Dead Rising is an experience everyone should have on the 360... By the way, if you don't have Oblivion or Gears of War yet, those are also necessities.

....and Lost Planet is okay, the single player mode is just a little boring. The online multiplayer is awesome though, a close second to Gears of War as my favorite.

I'd go with Dead Rising, i have gamefly and crackdown was goin back within 2 days of getting it, i mean if you're gonna play gta, do you really want to be the cops, plus saints row was better than this game.  The most entertaining thing for me in that game was going into the agency and staying alive as long as i could, which became when i turned the xbox off.  Lost planet is a rental game, don't buy it.  Buy for replay value, and dead rising has the most of these, you gotta love capcom for christ sakes.

Don't get crackdwon or lost planet unless you have live, there flaws are both made up for in multiplayer.
Dead Rising is a brilliant game that you can play many many times over and not get bored.
